The concert's most memorable performance was of James Callahan's Organ Concerto No. 2… an orchestra of top-notch Twin Cities-based musicians was kept in ideal balance with organ soloist Jacob Benda under Callahan's direction

Rob Hubbard

Minneapolis Star Tribune

The organ recital by Dr. Jacob Benda was characterized by an outstanding artistic and technical prowess…it was filled with mature lyricism and heart-stirring subtlety.

Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow

The lecture was listened to with great engagement not only by students of the Pontifical University and Kryzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Cracow, but also by other lecturers representing leading European centers for teaching church music, which resulted in a very interesting discussion on similarities and differences in approaches to the education of church musicians and in understanding the role of music and its integral part within the liturgy of the Catholic Church.
